Churches of Christ Care Petrie Gardens Aged Care Facility
Petrie Gardens Aged Care Facility at Tiaro, southwest of Maryborough, opened in 1995. Built in the style of a country homestead, with large rambling decks overlooking expansive gardens, Petrie Gardens is a beautiful and welcoming home for 10 low care residents.
Accommodation facilities
Residents at Petrie Gardens have their own private room with ensuite facilities. These rooms have built-in wardrobes, ceiling fans and an emergency call system. Meals are cooked for the residents in the kitchen and served by the staff in the large dining area. Pleasantly furnished lounge areas provide comfortable areas for residents to relax in while watching television, listening to music or reading a book from the library. Lounge, dining areas and hallways are all air conditioned for the comfort of residents and visiting family or friends.
Personal care services
Although our residents are encouraged to maintain independence with their everyday living tasks if extra assistance is needed our staff are available to help with showering , personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, special diets, rehabilitation, communication and short-term illness.
