Situated in Woorim on beautiful Bribie Island, Woorim Village backs on to natural bushland and is neighbours with the Golden Ages Day Centre and Bribie Golf Course. Woorim Village provides accommodation for 12 residents in a homelike environment.
The village includes 12 independent living units designed to meet the varied needs of residents. Units are carpeted and have built-in wardrobes, ceiling fan and wall heater. Residents have the opportunity to provide their own furnishings and electrical items. An emergency call system is standard in all units ensuring residents are able to raise an alarm from any point in their home or surrounds. Community Care services are available to residents and tailored to meet individual needs.
Woorim Village is a friendly community where you can enjoy comfortable and relaxed living close to the waterfront and less than an hour’s drive from Brisbane. Transport for residents is provided by the community bus and facilities nearby include a golf club, bowls club, tennis court, swimming pool and public library.
As a resident of the village, regular activities and get-togethers are held, and social outings to events and local attractions are open to everyone. The village also has an active residents’ committee. Woorim Village supports ageing-in-place, offering residents both community based aged care and residential aged care options on-site.
