Amaroo Gatton & District Aged Care Services

Nestled in the beautiful Lockyer Valley within easy access of Brisbane and Toowoomba, Amaroo Gatton & District Aged Care Services provides quality accommodation and services. The facility is set in native bush surroundings and is conveniently located on the south side of Gatton in the Gatton Shire which is known as ‘the salad bowl’, due to the quality and variety of fruit and vegetables grown there.

Accommodation facilities

Amaroo Gatton & District Aged Care Services provides accommodation to 20 residents in single, ensuited rooms. All rooms have built-in wardrobes, an emergency call system and access to a garden area outside. The facility is climate controlled for residents’ comfort. Tastefully furnished lounge and dining areas provide pleasant areas for residents to relax in. Residents’ laundry is done on site and all meals are prepared and served by staff.

Personal care services

Our residents are encouraged to maintain independence with their everyday living tasks. However, if an assessment reveals extra assistance is needed, Care staff are able to help with personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, rehabilitation, communication and socialisation support.

There are also eight Independent Living Units onsite.
