Homesteads Aged Care Services - Country Living
On the hillside overlooking the Gold Coast hinterland, Homesteads Aged Care Services gives the feeling of country living, but with all the modern conveniences. Homesteads is set among beautiful grounds and gardens on the Paradise Country tourist farm site, close to the heart of Nerang. This high and low care facility provides in-house caring for people who are elderly and/or have a disability.
Accommodation facilities
Forty-one residents with high and low care needs enjoy living in the four ‘house model’ homes at Homesteads Aged Care Services. The homes are tastefully furnished with comfortable lounges in the family and dining areas. Residents’ bedrooms are left to be furnished by the resident themselves if they wish. However, all rooms have their own ensuite, wall heater, ceiling fan and an emergency call system. Plugs are provided for small appliances, telephones and UHF television aerials.
Personal care services
Our residents are encouraged to maintain independence with their everyday living tasks. However, if an assessment reveals extra assistance is needed, Care staff are able to help with personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, special diets, short term illness, rehabilitation, communication and socialisation support.
