Marana Gardens Aged Care Services - A home for all
Marana Gardens Aged Care Services is set among well maintained gardens at Southport, close to the heart of the ever-popular Gold Coast. The facility is only three kilometres south from the Broadwater and approximately 65 kilometres south of Brisbane. This 71-bed hostel facility provides in-house caring for people who are elderly and/or have a disability, in eight self-contained houses.
Accommodation facilities
Seventy-one residents with high and low care needs enjoy living in the eight ‘house model’ homes at Marana Gardens Aged Care Services. Residents’ bedrooms are left to be furnished by the resident themselves if they wish. However, all rooms have their own ensuite, wall heater, ceiling fan and an emergency call system. Plugs are provided for small appliances, telephone and UHF television aerials. Each house has a large home style kitchen, family room and formal dining room which are all tastefully furnished.
Personal care services
Our residents are encouraged to maintain independence with their everyday living tasks. However, if an assessment reveals extra assistance is needed, Care staff are able to help with personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, special diets, short term illness, rehabilitation, communication and socialisation support.
