Bribie Island Aged Care Services - Our island home

Bribie Island Aged Care Services is situated just a short walk from the Pumicestone Passage and has beautiful still water views across to Redcliffe, Brisbane and the Glasshouse Mountains. Bird life is abundant on the island and there are superb walking tracks (wheelchair friendly) along the foreshore and throughout the island for all to enjoy.

Hostel

Accommodation facilities

Our hostel offers 52-bed low care accommodation including two respite beds. Each private room has ensuite facilities, built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan, wall heater and an emergency call system. Each section of the hostel provides a tastefully furnished dining room and lounge room for the residents to relax in.

Personal care services

Our residents are encouraged to maintain independence with their everyday living tasks.However, if an assessment reveals extra assistance is needed, Care staff are available to help with showering , personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, special diets, rehabilitation, communication and short-term illness.

Accommodation facilities

Our nursing home offers 50-bed high care accommodation, including two respite beds and is of the central isle servicing type. Each room contains between one and four beds. All rooms have built-in wardrobes, ceiling fans, wall heaters and an emergency call system. Communal areas, including a dining room and lounge rooms, are spacious and residents can relax with a book or watch television.

Personal care services

Registered nurses and personal care staff are available to render 24-hour assistance to residents with every aspect of their daily needs. We embrace the philosophy that residents should maintain as much independence as possible.

In addition, a range of individually tailored Community Aged Care Packages are available, and Woorim Lodge, and the Redcliffe Home Assist Secure program, are all located close by.
