Parklands Early Childhood Community Centre is a not-for-profit, long day care centre for children aged 15 months to five years. 

Qualified, experienced and friendly staff provide quality child care in a safe and warm environment.  Children are given the opportunity to socialise and develop friendships with children of a similar age group, in a setting where children learn through play.

Our facilities

Our long day care centre features air conditioned rooms and is a small, family orientated service.  Spacious and natural outdoor playgrounds are available for children to learn through play, problem solve and explore.

 

Our kindergarten and pre-prep program

Parklands Early Childhood Centre currently provides a kindergarten and pre-prep program delivered by a fully qualified teacher of 3-5 year olds, based on a play-based curriculum.  With the introduction of a full time preparatory year in primary schools in 2007, our program will also focuses on ensuring a smooth transition into the compulsary preparatory year in Queensland schools.

Hours of Care

The centre provides long day care Monday to Friday.  Depending on individual needs parents may choose from one to five days of care per week.  The centre is open throughout the year, except public holidays and a period over Christmas/New Year.

 

Our Centre

The centre is assessed and accredited through the national Childcare Accreditation Council and our program and facilities are continually assessed and improved to ensure the quality of care offered is of the highest standard.  Child Care Benefit is available for eligible families.
