Hervey Bay Family Day Care is a not-for-profit, community based scheme providing quality care for children from birth to 12 years of age. 

Child care is provided in the homes of engaged carers in the regional town of Hervey Bay and surrounding areas.  The service provides monitored care within a family environment in the approved homes of registered carers.  For more information about Care's family day care schemes, please click here.

Hours of care

The hours of care are flexible and can be matched to your family's needs.  The type of care provided includes:

• full time
• part time
• casual
• before/after school
• vacation
• weekend or overnight.

National Standards

Hervey Bay Family Day Care works to Australia's National Standards for Family Day Care developed by the Commonwealth and State/Territory Governments.  These standards determine the minimum requirements for providing a safe, nurturing and developmental child care environment.

 

Quality Assurance

Hervey Bay Family Day Care is assessed and accredited under the National Family Day Care Quality Assurance system, which ensures all family day care services meet quality standards beyond the minimum requirements.
