The service caters for families who are unable to access private and public housing and who require a level of individualised support to redevelop self-reliance and independence to eventually secure long-term, secure accommodation.
This is achieved by assisting families in a safe and secure environment to address a range of issues that have previously impacted on their housing stability. Individuals and families re-build self reliance and independence through an agreed support program. Support can be provided, both internally and by connecting families with external specialist agencies, in the following areas:
Our tenants come from various backgrounds and include families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, women and children escaping domestic violence, and families of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
